Networks gives $ 100,000 for tsunami victims
Samsung Networks organisation Vice Chairman Sana Seop Yoo
who called on Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa at Temple
Trees yesterday contributed US $ 100,000 to provide relief
to victims of the tsunami tidal wave.
The South Korean Ambassador associated with Sana Seop Yoo
pledged further support to Sri Lankans affected by this
disaster.
Osaka Niguruma Foundation Director Sakata Shigekazu was
another dignitary who called on the Prime Minister yesterday
morning to offer aid to rehabilitate some of the devastated
school buildings and to provide school equipment to children
orphaned by the tidal waves.
FOA President Dr. Jacques Diouf and the delegates who met
the Prime Minister yesterday said the FOA will render all
possible assistance to restore the normal day today life of
the people of the North and the South affected by the
tsunami.
