Extra 76,000 USD to tsunami fund from CA

Cricket Australia said Monday it had donated an extra 100,000 dollars (76,000 USD) to the Asian Tsunami Relief Appeal, taking its total contribution to 117,000 dollars.
The head Australian body first gave 17,000 dollars to the fund when it matched the Australian team's donation of its prize money from the second Boxing Day Test win over Pakistan here.

CA was also instrumental in helping arrange Monday's Tsunami Relief Appeal one-dayer between a Rest of the World XI and Asia XI at the Melbourne Cricket Ground at short notice.

The Australian team last year toured areas of India and Sri Lanka which have been devastated by the tsunami.
