Publishers Team Up to Rebuild Libraries

 
Godage Book Publishers with the support of several book publishing houses and authors have decided to help rebuild libraries destroyed or damaged as a result of the tsunami disaster. The effort is made to revive the cultural aspect of the society hit by the catastrophe.
The children are the most affected both socially and mentally by the disaster and with the intention of creating an atmosphere to foster and nurture sound minds both in the children and the elders, as publishers of books, they have found that giving good books and periodicals is one way of helping them.
The Godage Library Redevelopment Project invites the public to contribute their share either in cash or books as material aid to make the project a success.

The Godage book publishers has donated Rs.100, 000 in cash and books worth Rs. one million for this project.
